Grecian Victoriana - Victorian 18K Intaglio Cameo Ring. This gorgeous ring is crafted from 18K , hallmarked 750 for 18K gold and a makers mark. Featuring a genuine Victorian era glass cameo, Etruscan Revival styling and quality gold-work. The expertly bezel set cameo features a lovely Grecian lady with flowers in her flowing hair. The cameo has the most beautiful deep orange colour simulating a carnelian gemstone. The bezel is beautifully made and closed back, a characteristic of Ancient jewelry. The shoulders have raised detail, leading down to a fluted smooth polished shank, which allows for a comfortable fit. This stunning Victorian cameo has been set into a vintage hand made setting which was designed in an Ancient Etruscan Revival style, beautifully designed by a master goldsmith. A very special ring indeed to be treasured and enjoyed for many years to come.
