Guardian Angel - Vintage 10K Gold Angel Pendant & Chain. This wonderful medallion and chain is crafted from 10K hallmark, hallmarked 10K. Featuring Vintage styling and quality workmanship. The dainty pendant has a circular shape, with lovely detailing of a raised guardian angel . The medallion has nice deep carvings on the front and a brushed back. The chain is a box link design, featuring a spring ring clasp in perfect working order. This Vintage pendant and chain would make a perfect gift for that special someone or wonderful addition to amy jewelry collection.

The guardian angel concept is present in the books of the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and its development is well marked. These books described God's angels as his ministers who carried out his behests, and who were at times given special commissions, regarding men and mundane affairs.

Gold was generally used for a couple thousand years solely to create things such as jewelry and idols for worship. This was until around 1500 BC when the ancient empire of Egypt, which benefited greatly from its gold-bearing region, Nubia, made gold the first official medium of exchange for international trade.
