Heart Of Glass - Estate Signed 'Sims' Stainless Steel Red Heart Glass Pendant & Chain. This lovely pendant & chain is crafted from a stainless steel. The pendant features one glass heart, and quality craftsmanship. This beautiful pendant is made of a beautiful luminescent red glass in the form of a heart. There are two small silver hearts, which are signed SIMS. The chain is designed into a figaro pattern, which features a secure lobster claw clasp, in perfect working order. This estate pendant and chain is fun and very attractive when worn, truly a perfect charming addition to any jewelry collection.

History: Some 2,000+ years ago the Romans tapped into their skills and techniques behind metalworking, gem cutting, and pottery to begin creating glass. These glass items were often valued more than similar productions using precious metals such as silver and gold.

Stainless steel was officially created in 1913 by an English chemist called Harry Brearly.
