Ho Ho Ho - Vintage Silver & Plastic Hong Kong Santa Clause Brooch. This Vintage brooch is crafted from plastic, and a silver metal, marked MADE IN HONG KONG. Featuring Vintage styling and lovely detailing. This brooch is made in the form of Santa Clause. A classic Santa, dressed in red clothing, with silver and black trim. He has a cute little face , including a red nose! The colours on the Santa are metallic, and the piece is in excellent condition with little wear. The pin on the back is silver, and it has the original pin and lock system. This Vintage Brooch is so charming, and would be perfect for a Christmas gift or any brooch or Christmas /Santa collection.

The legend of Santa Claus can be traced back hundreds of years to a monk named St. Nicholas. It is believed that Nicholas was born sometime around 280 A.D. in Patara, near Myra in modern-day Turkey. Much admired for his piety and kindness, St. Nicholas became the subject of many legends. It is said that he gave away all of his inherited wealth and traveled the countryside helping the poor and sick.
