I Love You - Victorian 9K Rose & Yellow Gold Engraved 'Forget Me Knot' Heart Locket. This breathtaking locket is crafted from 9K rose and yellow gold gold, tested and confirmed. This is a back & front locket, crafted from 9K and some metal parts for strength and durability (a characteristic of Victorian and Edwardian lockets). Featuring exquisite detail, Victorian styling and quality gold-work. The work on this locket is absolutely beautiful. The central front portion of the locket showcases deep engraved scrolls and a shield for engraving, if desired. The border exhibits glorious scrolled chasing. The back of the locket features exquisite deep engraving of 'forget me knot flowers' and scrolls, with the beautiful chased border. The inside of the locket is lined with transparent decorated liners, one frame, and both plastic protectors. The locket has a small lip for opening, it is suggested that you use your fingernail to open the locket (no tools) to avoid scratching the locket. The locket snaps closed and is secure. Lockets should never be closed in the centre of the piece, always on the edge of the locket by applying pressure on the edge of the locket. There is a study bale and beautiful scroll, which works beautifully with the ornate locket. The locket has been matched up to 14K rose gold filled chain, which looks perfect with the pendant. This precious Victorian era locket is a very special piece to be cherished and enjoyed for many years to come.
Note: In history of the United Kingdom, the Victorian era was the period of Queen Victoria's reign from June the 20th 1837 until her death on the 22nd of January 1901.
