The chain is also made from sterling silver, hallmarked 925 for sterling. Featuring a natural (no colour treatment) oval carved jade gemstone, Art Deco styling and quality silver-work. The expertly claw-set jadeite has the most beautiful natural moss in snow colour. It is carved with an exquisite flower and foliage decoration. The rare gemstone is incased in a intricate decorative bezel. The precious gemstone is Grade A and has a completely natural colour. The chain is also Vintage, and matches up perfectly to the unique pendant. This wonderful Art Deco era piece would make a perfect gift or addition to any fine jewelry collection.

Jade has been mined and worked in China since the Stone Age. Jade later became revered with special significance. Beautiful designs were used for carvings, decorations, ceremonies, furnishings, and jewelry for the Imperial families. By 3000 B.C. jade became known as "yu" or the "royal gem".
