History: The only difference between Citrine and Lemon Quartz is in the saturation and tone of their colour. Many gem dealers do not even separate the two and use the name Citrine for all yellow Quartz. The gem looks vibrant when set into yellow gold, the warm tones truly allows this piece to be a stand-out!
Gold was generally used for a couple thousand years solely to create things such as jewelry and idols for worship. This was until around 1500 BC when the ancient empire of Egypt, which benefited greatly from its gold-bearing region, Nubia, made gold the first official medium of exchange for international trade.
The Wind, representing coercion and external force, blows fiercely, attempting to rip the cloak from the traveler's back. However, the harder the Wind blows, the tighter the traveler clings to his garment. Then it's the Sun's turn. Instead of forceful gusts, the Sun radiates warmth and kindness.
Kite shaped gemstones have a rich history dating back to the Art Deco period of the 1920s and 1930s. During this time, there was a focus on geometric shapes and bold, angular lines in jewelry design, which led to the popularity of the kite shape in engagement rings.
Skilled artisans carefully shape these gems to maximize their brilliance. The cutting process involves precise angles and facets. The kite shape emerged as a symbol of creativity and uniqueness.
