Linear Lines - Estate 10K White Gold Austrian Swarovski Crystal Bar Pendant & Sterling Silver Chain.  This elegant pendant is crafted from 10K white gold, tests 10K. The chain is crafted from sterling silver hallmarked S925 for sterling silver. The pendant features 10 round cut Swarovski crystals, classic styling, and quality craftsmanship. The pendant is made in the form of a linear bar,  which displays a lovely polished finish in white gold, enhanced by sparkling Swarovski crystals. The chain is a vintage belcher design, which features a secure spring ring clasp in perfect working order. This estate pendant would make a perfect gift or addition to any fine jewelry collection. 

History: The earliest diamonds were found in India in 4th century BC, although the youngest of these deposits were formed 900 million years ago. A majority of these early stones were transported along the network of trade routes that connected India and China, commonly known as the Silk Road.

Although the origin of white color gold dates back to 1710, where it was discovered by two alchemists in Germany, it wasn't used widely until much later. White gold as we know it today was really popularised in the 1920s. Although it might seem strange, this luxury material came to popularity in wartime.

Silver was discovered after gold and copper about 4000 bce, when it was used in jewelry and as a medium of exchange. The earliest known workings of significant size were those of the pre-Hittites of Cappadocia in eastern Anatolia.

The term sterling silver denotes any silver alloy in which pure silver makes up at least 92.5 percent of the content. One theory is that the word sterling comes from the name Easterlings—coiners from east German states brought to England during the reign of Henry II (1154–89) to improve the quality of the coinage.
