Love & Sentiment - Victorian 9K Rose Gold Engraved Locket . This gorgeous locket is crafted from 9K rose gold, hallmarked 9ct on the back of the locket. Featuring Victorian styling, and exquisite engravings. The engraving in this locket is absolutely breathtaking, the front displays scrolls and a shield of gold with a lovely old monogram (monograms, initials and inscriptions are so intriguing and sentimental in jewelry) . The front of the locket is masterfully engraved with flowers and foliage. The back of the locket has the most wonderful engraved foliage with a lucky horseshoe. These back to back lockets were made from gold and metal ( a characteristic of Victorian lockets) adding strength and durability to the piece. The inside of the locket contains its original brass frame and paper liner. The wonderful piece has been matched up to a 14K gold filled belcher chain. This Victorian era pendant is so unique and absolutely stunning when worn. Truly a wonderful locket to be cherished and enjoyed for many years to come.
