Medieval 12th-13th Century Bronze Cross Pendant. This amazing cross is crafted from bronze, featuring beautiful shape and detail with a superb patina. This cross has a very attractive shape wonderful raised detail, the patina on this piece is stunning , with much of it's rich gold gilt still intact. The cross was excavated recently in acidic soil , in a swamp with a metal detector. The cross is unusual because it has the same pattern on both sides. The piece has substance and is solid, as does the loop. The cross may have not been worn very long before it was lost because of the fine condition of this piece. The amazing artifact has been matched up to a contemporary black leather cord and bronze bail, which works beautifully with this wonderful piece of art. This beautiful artifact would make a perfect gift or addition to any collection. Truly a real find, to be enjoyed and treasured for many years to come.
