Midnight - Vintage 10K Black Onyx Gents Ring. This wonderful ring is crafted from 10K yellow gold, and hallmarked with a makers mark FO. Featuring a genuine black onyx gemstone, classic styling and quality gold-work. The onyx in this ring has a beautiful smooth jet black colour. The gemstone is in amazing condition. The bezel, which houses the gem has an attractive curved rectangular shape, leading down to a bevelled gallery and smooth shoulders. The gallery also features an exposed back for easy cleaning. The shank is polished and smooth, which allows for a comfortable fit and easy sizing. This Vintage ring is beautifully executed, it is elegant, bold and masculine. History: The stone has a long history of being associated with protective powers across many cultures including Ancient Greeks and Romans, Persian, Chinese and Indian. Throughout history, the stone has not only been used in amulets and jewellery, but also in carved cameos.
