Miss Fisher's Misty Blues - Art Deco Sterling Silver Blue Chalcedony Earrings. These gorgeous earring are crafted from 935 and 925 sterling silver, hallmarked . The mystical , magical blue chalcedony droppers are a translucent blue with a hint of grey. The beautiful desirable stones are suspended from a fancy link, interconnected chains that allow for gently sway and movement. The earrings would have had original screw backs (indicative to the Edwardian Art Deco period), which have been changed to "secure" sterling silver French leaver back surmounts for pierced ears. This elegant style is often worn by the Australian born actress Esther (Essie) Davis in her roll as Phryne Fisher in Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. These Art Deco era heirloom earrings are highly collectable and would make a wonderful addition to any fine jewelry collection.
Note: Blue Chalcedony is known to be soothing, calming and is great for promoting a sense of peace and joy. As a member of the quartz family , chalcedony carries similar properties, such as cleansing, healing, and balancing. Chalcedony helps to relieve one of negative emotions, bringing a greater sense or overall happiness to ones life.
