Mystical Beast - Renaissance 17th - 18th Century Bronze Seal Ring. This wonderful ring is crafted from bronze. Featuring Renaissance styling, exquisite detailing and quality bronze work. This fantastic ring boasts a solid bezel with intricate carvings of a wonderful mystical beast and an etched surround. The family seals rings were popular in this era so letters could be sealed with wax and only seen by the intended person(s). It has a beautiful deep bronze aged patina, and is great condition for its age. The ring has a solid plain shank, which allows for a comfortable fit. The back of the ring is solid, giving the ring more strength and durability. This amazing ring would make a unique gift or perfect addition to any early collection.
