Ancient Roman 3rd Century AD bronze stone ring. This ring is made of bronze and has an amazing centre stone that is securely set by 4 claws. The stone is a glass gem. However when held up to the light it has 2 colours. Half is clear and the other half is a reddish brown. The stone is really quite beautiful. This ring was excavated near the town of Razgrad. The ancient name of this town was Abritus. The city is known for the assassinated roman emperor Trajan Decius. This ring is very well preserved. Truly a wonderful addition to any collection. Can be worn with care.
