Edwardian Charles Horner sterling silver enamel pendant & chain. This beautiful Edwardian sterling silver pendant and chain is made of sterling silver, hallmarked sterling on the back of the pendant. The gorgeous piece is signed with the Charles Horner hallmark on the back of the pendant. The design is so lovely with a central focus point of beautiful white enamel and a delicate pink flower with green leaves, surrounded by a beautifully detailed bezel. Surrounding the bezel is some nice silver detail framed in a circle of silver. The bottom of the pendant has a lovely enamelled drop. The chain is vintage , made of sterling silver and matches beautifully with the pendant. This beautiful piece is very feminine , and can be worn casually or for an evening out.
Note: Charles Horner( 1837-1896) was an English jeweller and founder of the Halifax jewellery business Charles Horner of Halifax. The company was known for silver thimbles, silverware, tableware, clocks and jewellery. The company closed in 1952. Charles Horner pieces are highly collectible. This particular pendant is a wonderful example of the fine pieces that were made.
