Post Edwardian (1914-1918) WWI sterling pistol ring. This fantastic ring is made of sterling silver, a faint hallmark of STERLING is seen inside the ring. The face of the military ring has two cross over pistols, and has a high polish. The shoulders of this wonderful piece has engraved groove detail. The ring is in amazing condition and still very sturdy for everyday wear. The ring is a high polish, however the scratches of time are shown when magnified, on the hand the ring shows a lovely soft patina. I loved the patina of the ring as appose to a high polish so I left it just the way it is. I often look at this ring and my thoughts often drift away to who this ring may have belonged to. This is a wonderful rare piece which would make a very unique gift for anyone who a WWI or WWII enthusiast, or interested in the military.
