Edwardian sterling silver synthetic lilac sapphire & marcasite earrings . These beautiful earrings are made of sterling silver (tested), and hallmarked, since hallmark is impossible to decipher. They have post and butterfly backs and are for pierced ears. The earrings feature beautiful silver detail with a scalloped frame and a star at the top of the frame. The centre of the frame has beautiful lilac paste gemstones. The frame of the earrings have several rose-cut marcasites set in to the silver-work. The top of the earring also has a scalloped design with marcasite. The colour of these paste gemstones are made to look like lilac sapphires, the colour is absolutely stunning and the gems are very sparkly. They look gorgeous when worn.
