Rare Viking 9th-11th century bronze amulet pendant. This exceptional amulet is made of bronze, it has a wonderful aged patina. The design on this piece has been confirmed as snakes, which represents fertility. This piece is beautiful made with lots of beautiful detail. I have added a bale and ring , and matched the pendant up with a contemporary leather cord. The pendant has a fantastic cut out design which looks beautiful when worn. This artifact is very special and can be worn with care. This would make a wonderful addition to any early jewellery collection or gift for that special someone.
