Victorian glass beaded & celluloid bag. This beautiful bag is made of gorgeous glass beads, silk , crystal and celluloid. The beadwork is exquisite , with rows and rows of Ivory coloured beads. The patten has very soft waves which work beautifully with the ornate ivory celluloid cut out design. The frame of the bag is made of celluloid, however it looks like carved ivory. The pattern of the frame has flowers, foliage, and birds. There are two adjustable handles on the bag with 4 beautiful cut clear crystal balls that dangle on the ends of the handles. This bag would make a beautiful evening bag for a special event , the opera, or a wedding heirloom. Simply exquisite.

Condition: Excellent: There are some faint marks on the inside silk, normal for a Victorian era bag.
