Victorian sterling silver & amethyst bracelet. This beautiful Victorian bracelet is made of sterling silver, sterling hallmark and beautiful genuine amethysts. The natural amethysts are expertly bezel set and connected to delicate segments of fine filigree. The amethysts are oval shaped and faceted so when the light catches them, they sparkle beautifully. They are beautiful natural stones so each stone is a tiny bit different, however very well matched. The colour of these precious gems are a beautiful vibrant purple, which looks gorgeous against the sterling silver. The delicate segments of filigree have a flower motif in the centre and very fine petal like designs with tiny silver beads. Even the bezels are decorative on this piece, when looking closely you will see a very delicate milgrain design around each bezel. This piece has been professionally cleaned, however its original beautiful patina has not been removed. The spring ring also looks to be original, it is in good working order. The lovely bracelet is also hallmarked ITALY on the back. This is a beautiful early piece to be treasured and enjoyed for may years to come.
