Victorian elegant sterling silver & marcasite earrings. These Victorian earrings are made of sterling silver, they are hallmarked 925 on the back of the earrings. The silver work on these exquisite earrings is fine , with lovely silver bead detail and gorgeous rose cut marcasites. The earrings are for pierced ears , the butterfly backing fit securely. The pattern of the earring are elegant , they have a regal look with a coat of arms design. These earring also have a lovely antique patina that takes many years to develop. They would be perfect for any jewellery collection or an heirloom piece for a wedding. Just gorgeous!
