From Australia To You - Vintage 14k opal & seed pearl pendant. This beautiful pendant is made of 14k gold, genuine natural opals and seed pearls. Featuring a stunning expertly set large oval opal in the centre, eleven (11) round opals set throughout this amazing piece, one tear drop opal at the bottom of the pendant, and beautiful delicate natural seed pearls (48) expertly set into the gold setting. The design and proportions of this beautiful Victorian Revival pendant are just perfect, I love the detail of the swirls and how the design offset the opals beautifully. The gorgeous natural Australian opals show flashes of colour that vary from hues of blue, lilac, green, and orange. The chain is made of 14k , contemporary, however it matches well with the pendant. The piece may also be worn as a brooch, it looks stunning as a centre piece on a special dress or pinned onto a velvet choker. The pin on the back of the piece is held by a secure catch to hold the pin-stem in place. This beautiful pendant is most definitely a heirloom piece that would make a perfect gift, or addition to any jewel collection.
