Antique (post Edwardian) 1919 18K gold ruby and diamond ring. This beautiful ring is made of 18K solid gold, genuine diamonds, and rubies. The ring is claw-set with a central 'cushion shaped' ruby gemstone of good quality and is beautifully cut. It is flanked by 2 slightly smaller cushion shaped ruby gemstones, interspaced by 4 'rose-cut' diamonds which are also claw-set into the ring. All of the gemstones are housed into a marquise shaped panel. There is decorative "open-work piping' to the sides of the head of the ring and a full Birmingham 18ct gold assay hallmark for the year 1919 on the inside circumference of the shank. This beautiful ring is in excellent condition with genuine gemstones, fully hallmarked to authenticate its year of manufacture.
