Vintage 1930s Frances for Hirsch silk beaded bag. This is a beautiful French silk bag featuring ivory silk with leaf and flower beadwork design and beaded frame and catch. The purse is lovely and delicate with beautiful ornate beadwork . The interior has a label that was handmade stating "made in France for Frances Hirsch" Frances Hirsch was a high end designer, and was carried in major department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue , and high end boutiques back in the 30s and 40s. The beaded pearl latch must be lifted to open and lifted to close , there is a snake chain that tucks in perfectly depending whether you prefer to use it or not you have the option. This would make a stunning evening or bridal bag. A true gem to be enjoyed and treasured for many years to come.
