On This Day In 1900 - Victorian 18K Gold Sapphire & Diamond Ring. This lovely ring is crafted from 18K gold, hallmarked with ( 18CT British hallmarks), Chester, dated 1900. Featuring 4 natural faceted sapphires, 3 natural Old English cut diamonds, Victorian styling and quality gold-work. The sapphires on this ring are a deep vibrant indigo blue colour, there are 3 sparkling bright white diamonds interspaced between the sapphires. The detail on the ring is exquisite with lovely carved shields on the shoulders set with diamonds and engravings. The ring has its full crisp hallmarks, and the shank is smooth and polished for a comfortable fit. This Victorian era ring is an exquisite example of fine jewelry from this time period., truly a wonderful ring to be enjoyed and cherished for many years to come.
