On This Day In 1940 - Art Deco 9K Engraved Wedding Band. This lovely band is crafted from 9K white gold, hallmarked 375 (British hallmark for 9K), Birmingham, dated 1940, and a makers name CY & CO. Featuring exquisite engraved detail and quality gold-work. The decoration on the band displays lovely foliate engraving. The ring is delicate yet substantial, and the patten is all around the wonderful piece. It is comfortable to wear and looks gorgeous when worn. It can be worn on its own or matched up to an engagement ring. Truly a special Art Deco Era piece to be treasured and enjoyed for many years to come.
