Nightingale - Vintage Sterling Silver Onyx & Marcasite Pendant. This gorgeous pendant is crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked 925 for sterling. Featuring genuine cabochon onyx, genuine rose-cut marcasite, quality silver-work and Victorian Revival styling. The expertly bezel set oval onyx is smooth, deep black and shiny, surrounded by a silver frame of sparkling marcasites. The silver pendant is ornate and completely encrusted with marcasites, whilst the 5 onyx drops allows the pendant to have nice movement. The chain is a sturdy foxtail necklace, which is sturdy and substantial , matching the necklace perfectly. The clasp is a sturdy lobster claw clasp in perfect working order. The wonderful elegant piece can be worn as a pendant or brooch. This pendant looks absolutely stunning when worn, truly a vintage piece to be treasured and enjoyed for many years to come.
