Opal of the Sea - Vintage Sterling Silver Abalone & Marcasite Earrings. These gorgeous earrings are crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked 925 for sterling. Featuring genuine oval cut cabochon abalone, genuine rose-cut marcasite, quality silver-work and an exquisite Edwardian Revival design. The expertly bezel set abalone has the most beautiful colour combination, displaying a variation of pink, blue, green, gold and lavender, surrounded by an ornate silver setting set with sparkling marcasite . The surmounts feature a delicate open worked silver frame, also set with marcasite. The earrings are for pierced ears, featuring posts and secure butterfly backs.
