Petit Point - Vintage Gold plated Floral Painted Porcelain & Rhinestone Crystal Earrings. These pretty earrings are crafted from a gold plated base metal, and surgical steel posts. Featuring 2 painted porcelain oval plaques, 2 round cut rhinestones, and Victorian styling. These lovey earrings showcase expertly bezel set oval white porcelain plaques, which are painted with pinkish/coral flowers , and green leaves and stems. Above the plaques are two round clear rhinestone crystals and gold ball surmounts. They are closed back with a lovely textured gold casing. The earrings are for pierced ears, and feature posts and secure cupped backings. These Vintage earrings are just darling, truly a perfect gift or addition to any jewelry collection.

History: The name rhinestone comes from the discovery of crystals that were gathered from the Rhine River. Rhinestones are mass produced until 18th century when the founder of Swarovski, Daniel Swarovski, invented machine for cutting and faceting crystal stones.
