Featuring one natural oval cut ruby, 6 natural tapered baguette diamonds, 30 natural round brilliant cut diamonds, vintage styling, and high quality craftsmanship. The gallery on this ring showcases a vibrant ruby, displaying a pinkish/red hue. The precious ruby is surrounded by sparkling diamonds, which adds contrast and enhances the ruby perfectly. History: Records suggest that rubies were traded along China's North Silk Road as early as 200 BC. Chinese noblemen adorned their armor with rubies because they believed the gem would grant protection. Burma has been a significant ruby source since at least 600 AD.

The earliest diamonds were found in India in 4th century BC, although the youngest of these deposits were formed 900 million years ago. A majority of these early stones were transported along the network of trade routes that connected India and China, commonly known as the Silk Road.

Although the modern history of platinum only begins in the 18th century, platinum has been found in objects dating from 700 BC, in particular the famous Casket of Thebes (see image). ... The Spanish called this metal Platina, a diminutive of Plata, the Spanish word for silver.

Ballerina cluster rings are a fanciful and distinctive style of cluster.  Inspired by the shape of a ballerina's tutu, the cluster of diamonds simulates the following movement of the ballerina dancing, creating a dramatic swirling effect on the finger.  This ring is a fine example and very high quality.
