Post Medieval 17th-18th century bronze crucifix pendant. This magnificent cross is crafted from bronze, featuring beautiful well defined detail and decoration, with a superb deep bronze patina. This cross is in fine very well preserved condition, Jesus is raised and well defined, , with gorgeous scalloped and pinnacle decoration. The back of the cross is plain with a lovely patina, the loop is sturdy and substantial. Matched up to a contemporary bail and bronze chain with a sturdy lobster claw claps. This very special artifact would make a perfect gift or addition to any ancient collection.
