Rare Viking 8th-11th Century bronze crescent lunar moon pendant. This amazing artifact is crafted from bronze, featuring a stunning bronze Crescent Lunar moon. The pendant has a wonderful shape with fantastic stamping, a decorative triangular detail and circular stamping on the tips of the moon, believes to be animal decoration and symbolism. This particular piece is solid and substantial, with a magnificent brown green patina, with the back being plain , however still showcasing the beautiful patina. The bail is very solid and sturdy, a extremely well preserved artifact indeed. I have matched up a leather cord to the piece, which works beautifully with this wonderful piece of history.
