They feature crystal rhinestones, vintage styling, and quality craftsmanship. These wonderful earrings are expertly hand claw-set with beautiful sparkling rhinestones, which are arranged in an elegant pattern. They have their original screw-backs, which are in perfect working order. They are for pierced and non pierced ears. They are articulated in such away that the earrings have some movement. The earrings have a nice wearable length, with the perfect amount of dangle. These vintage earrings would make a wonderful addition to any vintage jewelry collection.

History: Originally, rhinestones were rock crystals gathered from the river Rhine, hence the name, although some were also found in areas like the Alps (the source of the Rhine). Today the name "rhinestone" applies only to varieties of lead glass known as crystal glass.

Initially, the primary application of rhodium involved its use as a catalyst rather than in jewellery plating. It was only in the 1930s that the concept of rhodium plating emerged, paving the way for its integration into the jewellery industry by the 1950s.
