Roses & Lavender By The Sea - Edwardian 9K Rose Gold Amethyst & Pearl Ring. This lovely ring is crafted from 9K rose gold , hallmarked 375 (British Hallmark) , Birmingham, a makers mark, and dated 1902. Featuring 6 genuine old round cut amethysts, two natural pearls, Edwardian/Victorian styling and quality gold-work. The gallery on this ring houses a central quadruplet of vibrant amethyst gemstones, flanked by two lustrous seed pearls and further amethysts. All the gemstones are claw-set into the ring and arranged into square shaped panels, but only the amethyst gemstones are exposed to its reverse side. There is decorative beading to the upper and lower regions of the head of the ring. The shank on this ring is substantial, polished and smooth, which allows for a comfortable fit. This exquisite Edwardian era ring would make a perfect gift or wonderful addition to any fine jewelry collection.
