Russian Beauty - Vintage Sterling Silver Charoite & Amethyst Pendant. This gorgeous pendant and chain is crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked 925 for sterling and a makers mark SAJEN . Featuring a natural oval cabochon charoilte, a natural stylized emerald cut amethyst, Artisan styling and quality silver work. This beautiful pendant is so artistic and unique. The stunning charoite displays gorgeous swirls of deep purple and lavender colour. The amethyst is lavender in colour with a wonderful brilliance. the entire piece is solid and substantial. The snake chain is smooth and silky to the touch, and a sturdy lobster clasp in perfect working order. This stunning piece would make a perfect gift or addition to any jewelry collection. 

Note: Charoite is a rare silicate mineral, first described in 1978 and named for the Chara River. It has been reported only from the Aldan Shield, Sakha Republic, Siberia, and Russia. It is found where syenite of the Murunski Massif has intruded into and altered limestone deposits producing a potassium feldspar metasmomite.  

Charoite is an incredible stone of the violet Ray with an almost tangible movement of energy flowing in magnificent swirls eddies( a circular movement of water, counter to a main current, causing a whirlpool) of violet, lavender and purple. 

This piece was designed by Marianna and Richard Jacobs for their Sajen Offerings line.  The Balinese word for "Offerings" is "Sajen". Their pieces are handcrafted and hand finished by master goldsmiths in Bali, Indonesia and Jaipur, India.
