Serenity - Vintage 10K White Gold Natural Aquamarine & Diamond Ring. This pretty ring is crafted from 10K gold, hallmarked 10K. The ring features one natural oval cut faceted aquamarine, 2 natural faceted pear shaped aquamarines, 6 around single cut diamonds, classic vintage styling, and quality craftsmanship. The gallery on this ring is expertly claw-set with a beautiful aquamarine, which is interspaced by sparkling diamonds, and aquamarines framing each side of the setting. The aquamarines showcase a beautiful pale blue colour, which display blushing/greenish hues. This ring is dainty, and exhibits slightly tapered shoulders, leading down to a smooth and polished shank. This allows for a comfortable fit and easy sizing. This lovely ring would make a unique engagement ring, gift, or a perfect addition to any fine jewelry collection.
Comments: Dainty but mighty, beautiful colour on the aquamarines.

History: Aquamarine is also associated with tranquility, serenity, clarity, and harmony. As the first of the spring birthstones, the sea blue crystal represents transformation and rebirth. It embodies youthful vitality, purity, loyalty, hope, and truth.
The earliest diamonds were found in India in 4th century BC, although the youngest of these deposits were formed 900 million years ago. A majority of these early stones were transported along the network of trade routes that connected India and China, commonly known as the Silk Road.
Gold was generally used for a couple thousand years solely to create things such as jewelry and idols for worship. This was until around 1500 BC when the ancient empire of Egypt, which benefited greatly from its gold-bearing region, Nubia, made gold the first official medium of exchange for international trade.
White gold has been around since the turn of the 19th century, but it wasn't until the 1920s when it really started gaining popularity. At the time, platinum had been the preferred precious metal for jewellery. But it quickly became scarce as World War II raged on, and countries began to stockpile it for military use.
