Victorian Silver Heart & Tassel Albertina Bracelet. This truly lovely Victorian Albertina bracelet is sterling siver (tested). It is named after Queen Victoria's husband (Albert) the original was originally the shorter , ladie's version of the Albert chain. However these days they make lovely bracelets. This albertina is mounted on double chains of the twisted link variety. The central motif is fixed but the lower chain runs freely and creates an elegant drape. A deeply engraved heart charm hangs from the centre. On one end is a trio attached to a dog nose clip. The balls are replicated at the other end and there is a bar with a twisted decoration and knot ends. From a further length of the chain hangs a tassel with five strands. It has a beautifully engraved cap. This so beautiful albertina has a fine light patina and is in wonderful antique condition.
