Sparkling Buttercup - Victorian 9K Rose Gold Diamond Solitaire Ring. This gorgeous ring is crafted from 9K rose gold, tested and confirmed. Featuring a natural Old Mine cut diamond, exquisite detailing and Victorian styling. The diamond is housed by a double buttercup setting, which sets off the sparkling diamond solitaire beautifully. The lily designed shoulders adds even more detail and beauty to the ring. The shank is tapered, polished and smooth, which allows for a comfortable fit. The colour of the rose gold is a rich mellow rosy colour. This antique Victorian era ring is precious, feminine and dainty. It would make a unique engagement ring, gift or addition to any fine jewelry collection.
Note: An appraisal will accompany the ring. This contemporary appraisal is based on the value of the diamond and gold. Therefore it does not take the antiquity value into consideration.
Comments: !n 1953, GIA formally created its diamond grading system, known as the 4 C's. The 4 Cs of diamond quality are the universally recognized diamond grading system still to be used today. 1n 1955, GIA presented its first diamond grading reports, which became the hallmark of grading reports in the diamond industry. Before this time in antiquity clients did not care about diamond grading. It was based more so on the size of the diamonds ( according to budget) , style, and sentiment. This ring is a wonderful example of the Victorian era, just beautiful!
