The Blue Seal - Medieval (post) 16th - 17th Century Bronze Ring.

This fantastic ring is crafted from bronze. Featuring an oval cut blue paste seal gem, quality bronze work, wonderful detailing, and a beautiful aged patina. The expertly set glass gemstone is royal blue in colour surround by a layered bezel. The back of the ring is solid and closed back, also a feature in early pieces as appose to the more contemporary open backed settings. The shoulders on this ring and band are smooth and polished, which makes for a comfortable fit. This wonderful piece of history would make a unique gift or addition to any early collection, truly a ring to be treasured and enjoyed for many years to come.
