To Love & Behold - Victorian 9K Engraved Locket Ring. This lovely ring is crafted from 9K yellow gold. Featuring Victorian styling, exquisite engraving, and quality gold-work. This type of ring is known as a locket ring. This style was very popular in the Victorian and Edwardian era. This particular example has an elegant elongated oval gallery. The face (lid) of the locket displays beautiful hand engraving, whilst the bezel is polished and smooth. The engraving is a scroll design, with deep hand-carving and an etched decoration. The inside of the locket has its original frame and clear protector so a photo of your loved one can be inserted and held in place. The locket opens and snaps shut well. The shoulders of the ring are executed in such away that it gracefully supports the bezel of the locket. the shoulders are a split style with a fluted centre piece. The shank is smooth and polished, which allows for a comfortable fit. This Victorian / Edwardian era ring is highly collectible, truly a wonderful piece to be treasured for many years to come.
