Two Hearts As One - Victorian 9K Engraved Shield Locket.  This beautiful locket is crafted from 9K Yellow Gold, tested and confirmed.  Featuring Victorian rare design, exquisite engraving, and quality gold-work. This locket has a shield shape displaying gently curves and a lovely curved bar surmount.  The locket is adorned by a sea of deep carved engravings on the front and back of the piece. The front of the locket displays engravings of scrolls, lovely flowers, and two polished hearts,  which can be engraved with initials if desired.   The back is completely engraved showcasing English ivy, and a beautiful scroll resembling a vine and flowers.  The inside of the locket is complete with its frames and both of the clear photo plastic protectors.  The locket is a back to front locket which is crafted from 9K gold and metal parts, adding strength to the piece, a characteristic of Victorian lockets. It has a wonderful engraved etched border, and opens and closes perfectly. The locket has been matched up to a 14K gold filled Belcher chain. The shield locket symbolized protection of your loved ones (photos in your locket) This gorgeous Victorian piece looks stunning when worn, truly a piece to be treasured and enjoyed for many years to come. 

Note: The engraving on this locket is exquisite. It is deeply carved on both sides. Very well preserved locket with both frames in place and both clear plastic protectors. Original papers left intact, which is printed with Highlands and a flag. Rare design.
