Birks Extraordinaire - Victorian 14K Platinum Colour Change Sapphire. This stunning ring is crafted from 14K and platinum, hallmarked 585 and tested. There is a wonderful old Birks hallmark inside the circumference of the ring. Featuring a natural oval cut faceted colour change (untreated sapphire), 10 natural Old European cut diamonds, Victorian styling and quality gold and platinum work. The colour of this vibrant sapphire varies from a pinkish purple to a bluish violet colour depending on different light intensities. The expertly claw set sapphire is housed by a coronet gallery and surrounded by bright , white sparkling diamonds. The coronet gallery is unusual in the fact that it is crafted from 14K gold and platinum, a detail which adds even more beauty to the setting.
