Victorian circa 1880 silver & celluloid hair comb. This gorgeous comb is crafted from a silver metal and celluloid. The comb features the most beautiful ornate medallion, with very pretty scroll work, cut out work , etching and stamping. The metal has a matt finish , however the detail allows the finial to shine with all of it's amazing decoration. The celluloid tines are in wonderful condition , displaying a very pretty amber colour. This Victorian treasure looks stunning when worn, it would make a perfect bridal or special occasion hair accessory. So romantic and feminine , truly an heirloom to be treasured for many years to come.
