Victorian circa 1880 sterling silver steampunk heart pendant. This gorgeous pendant is hand crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked 925 for sterling. Featuring beautiful filigree wire-work ,wonderful original patina, a solid bail and a antique sterling chain. The frame of the pendant is intricate , as are all the other central levels of silver-work and detail. The piece has dimension with all the fantastic levels of silver, including a central bead like design and a trio bead-like decorative drop. The bail is nice and solid , the chain looks to be original, since it is antique and looks like a perfect match with the pendant. This stunning Victorian heart pendant is so romantic and feminine, however still displaying a steampunk vintage feel with it's curved wire design. This 1800s treasure would make a perfect gift or addition to any jewelry collection.

Note: Steampunk works are often set in an alternative history of the 19th century British Victorian era or American " Wild West" in a post-apocalyptic future which steam power has mainstream usage, or in a fantasy world that similarly employs steam power. Most steampunk jewelry incorporates gears and mechanisms that simulate styles from how 19th century people may have envisioned them. This particular Victorian era piece is a beautiful example with its wiring steampunk style, a very special piece indeed.
