Victorian Gothic Revival - Vintage Silver Tone Simulated Pearl Ornate Bracelet. This lovely bracelet is crafted from a silver coloured metal. The bracelet features 9 simulated pearls, vintage Victorian revival styling, and quality craftsmanship. This bracelet consists of 9 ornate galleries, which are set with lustrous white pearls, displaying white/creamy overtones. The galleries are connected by links, which allows nice movement and flexibility to the piece. The clasp is a fold over type, which securely locks into place. This vintage bracelet looks fabulous when worn, truly a great addition to any vintage costume jewelry collection.

History: As early as the 13^th century, Venetian glassmakers combined egg whites, powered glass and snail slime and then let the beads harden to form pearls while, in Rome, the workshops coated alabaster balls with wax and then an essence created from fish scales (Weller).
