Victoriana - Victorian 9K Gold Slide Chain & Jewelled Locket.  This amazing Chain is crafted from 9K Rose and yellow gold, confirmed and tested.  The heart locket is a 9K Back & Front locket, hallmarked. A hook clasp is marked 10K.  Featuring 5 natural seed pearls, 7 ruby paste gemstones, Victorian styling and quality gold - work.  The chain is a slide chain, which allows the chain to be worn in different ways.  It can be worn long or doubled, which gives the chain a completely different look.  The slider is rose gold and set with a ruby paste. The slide moves up and down smoothly and easily so you can adjust your desired length.  The heart locket is crafted from rose gold and metal parts (a characteristic of Victorian and Edwardian lockets), which gives the locket strength and durability.  The front of the locket is adorned by a scroll of hand set natural pearls and 6 hand set ruby paste gemstones.  The back of the locket is hallmarked 9ct, Back & Front Silver Setting , meaning that the locket is crafted in rose gold with silver parts. The back has a smooth and polished finish. The entire locket has a beautiful antique rose gold patina. The top of the locket exhibits a lovely yellow gold scroll and a rose gold loop(which ties in wonderfully with the two toned gold chain)   The rope chain is beautifully made, displaying a rich yellow gold colour and rose gold slide. The combination of the two different colours of gold is stunning. The inside of the locket has a frame, plastic liners and very pretty paper inserts. The locket closes and opens perfectly.  This very special Victorian era piece would make the most special gift or addition to any fine jewelry collection.
