Taxco - Vintage Sterling Silver Open-Work Symbols Band Ring.  This lovely ring is crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked Sterling 925, and a makers mark CET, Mexico. Featuring Vintage styling, Mexican symbolism, and quality craftsmanship. The cut-work pattern on this ring surrounds the entire band , with a solid area for resizing.  The ring is wide and the open-work is very attractive on the finger.  It is substantial and solid (a characteristic of Vintage rings from this time period) , thus high quality.  This Vintage ring would make a perfect gift for that special someone, or addition to any jewelry collection.

Silver's history is long. The first evidence of silver mining dates back to 3000 B.C., in Turkey and Greece, according to the RSC. Ancient people even figured out how to refine silver. ... The silver does not react to the air, but the base metals such as lead and copper oxidize and separate from the precious metal.
