Vintage sterling silver garnet & marcasite choker. This lovely vintage choker is crafted from sterling silver, called 925 for sterling. Featuring beautiful genuine garnets, detailed silver work and genuine rose-cut marcasites. The genuine natural garnet beads are an amazing deep red wine colour, there are 5 strands of these hand-strung beautiful beaded. The panel on this beautiful necklace consists of lovely detailed silver and open work enhanced by numerous expertly set rose-cut sparkling marcasites. The back of the choker has two silver decorative panels , one with a connected chain and one with a hook, this allows the wearer to adjust the choker to their preferred length. This type of necklace was popular for centuries. This Vintage necklace is a wonderful well made revival style. Breathtaking when worn this beautiful piece would be perfect for any formal occasion, can be dress down to for a fabulous vintage fashion statement piece.
