Vintage sterling silver seed pearl & marcasite key pendant. This exquisite key pendant is crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked 925 for sterling. Featuring genuine seed pearls, genuine marcasite and quality silver-work. The pendant is made in to the shape of an ornate key, the expertly set seed pearls represent flowers, and are also used for additional detail on the key. The seed pearls are white with a soft grey hue , they are full of lustre and in wonderful condition. The silver frame of the key is encrusted with sparkling rose-cut marcasites, even the bail has marcasites , adding sparkle throughout the entire piece. The pendant has been matched up to a diamond cut contemporary chain, the bead like form of the chain works extremely well with the seed pearl gems in the key, while the diamond cutting on the chain ties in with the shiny marcasite. Victorian revival in style , this beautiful vintage piece would make a perfect gift for that special someone or wonderful additio0n to any jewelry collection.
