History: Silver was first mined around 3,000 BCE in Anatolia, now located in modern-day Turkey. The precious metal helped early civilizations in the Near East, Ancient Greece to flourish.

Sterling silver is 925 pieces of silver out of 1000. Alpaca silver is 850 pieces of silver out of 1000. 950 silver is basically the purer than sterling that is purer than alpaca silver.

In the 19th century the US produced 950 silver items for higher quality pieces.

Draconic creatures are first described in the mythologies of the ancient Near East and appear in ancient Mesopotamian art and literature. Stories about storm-gods slaying giant serpents occur throughout nearly all Near Eastern and Indo-European mythologies.
